Real Deals on Home Décor is a family of mom and pop stores that is open just 2 Days a Week, and their variety and pricing of décor are 2 Good to be True! We call our Real Deals’ customer base our fan base because our stores just create a following. The two days we’re open become an event, like a party every week. Of course, everyone has told us being open only Thursdays and Saturdays will not work in retail – it goes against all the traditional business models. But we and our fans are loving it. We think they love to shop with us because they have so much fun seeing all the latest in both contemporary and traditional home décor, then finding out the price is less than they expected. They browse our wide array of wall art, mirrors, clocks, decorative vases, lamps, and furniture and often ask, “Are you sure this is the right price?” Sometimes customers will come up and whisper, “you could really charge more for this – it’s twice this price across town.” While our ultra-low prices may bring the customers in, it’s the type of customer service only an owner can provide that keeps them coming back. That’s why our Real Deals shops are owner-run, and our Obsession Statement says we’re out to “Prove that you are our favorite (most valued, preferred, adored, best looking ;) customer.” We’re totally serious about that in a really fun way. We import quality home decor that fits into any decorating scheme from Americana to classic to Old World. And we love our customers (fans) so much they even have a Bill of Rights in our shops: “You have the right to Drool upon entering,” “Leave the store bare…leave the store Naked” and “Ditch your kids, meet your friends, and shop till you’re sane again.”
